Click here to worship with Selah's Wonderful, Merciful Savior

Wonderful, merciful Saviour
Precious Redeemer and Friend
Who would've thought that a Lamb could
Rescue the souls of men
Oh, You rescue the souls of men

Counselor, Comforter, Keeper
Spirit we long to embrace
You offer hope when our hearts have
Hopelessly lost our way
Oh, we've hopelessly lost the way

You are the One that we praise
You are the One we adore
You give the healing and grace
Our hearts always hunger for

Oh, our hearts always hunger for

Almighty, infinite Father
Faithfully loving Your own
Here in our weakness You find us
Falling before Your throne
Oh, we're falling before Your throne

Lord, it's days like these that make us remember how much we need a Savior.
A wonderful, merciful one. A friend. A counselor. A Comforter.
Because we have hopelessly lost our way.

But because we know You are good, we can come boldly to Your throne. The throne of grace.
And there we can pour out our hearts, and bring to You our needs.

Lord we pray for unity. We pray for humility, as that is the first step. So Lord, break our pride. Humble us before You.

We pray for unity in our marriages. Lord, bring Your peace and be the grace in our families. May deployments be a time of strengthening the bond.
We pray for unity in our military community. Not just live-and-let-live, but bearing the burdens with our brothers and sisters.
We pray for unity in our chapels. Thank You for this unique, denomination-less opportunity. Help us to continue to grow together and shine Your light. Help us to be the example.
We pray for unity in our country. Lord, it does seem hopeless. Without You, we only find more ways to hurt each other. But with You...changing hearts...what an amazing thing that could be.

And so we pray for an outpouring on You on our nation. Lord, please bring revival to America. Please give us more of You.

We pray for unity for our leaders, including the Chief of Chaplains' office. May our leaders always have the people in mind, and not be selfish. We pray for unity amongst our pastors across this land. May they lead the movement, show the way to You.

We pray for our veterans. May they see their continued purpose in You. May the time of peace bring peace in their hearts through finding You.

Father God we pray for healing for our loved ones. Please be with the parents we can't be with. Please touch the young man with bleeding from Krohn's. Please continue to strengthen the new little ones. Please encourage the mommas living in chronic pain.

Lord we know there will not be peace on this earth until You come. How good to know it is coming though, and we can trust in You to fulfill Your promises. You are the One we long for.

God of the heavenly armies
who knows the heart of the earthly soldier

God of all power
who can turn a battle with a wind

God of all strength
who knows every weakness

God of all endurance
who made the body to age

God of all wisdom
who knows the thoughts of the veteran

We pray to You, Lord, our God who knows our pain, knows our weakness, knows our thoughts and our hearts.
You, in all Your sovereignty, wrapped in thick clouds of darkness, seated on a throne of light, yet still You choose to love us, be with us, enter our world. Thank You Jesus.

Lord we pray You will hem our soldiers and sailors and airmen and marines into Your fold. Gather up our warriors’ broken pieces, and may they rejoice in You.
May they see the wonder of You.
Hold them in Your arms.
Chase them down in their darkest moments.
Bring them through their grief.
Renew their courage.

We pray for those with head trauma. Lord, may they rest in You and may their swirling thoughts center in on Your peace.
We pray for those with failing shoulders, aching backs, broke down feet. Lord please help them deal with the pain. Please give doctors wisdom. Please heal.

We pray for the young ones in boot camp. Lord, give them courage and strength.
We pray for our deployed—please keep them safe. Hold them close.

We pray for the leaders. May they turn to You for all decisions this week—including the Chief of Chaplains’ Office.

Lord please be the God of our military’s everything.

Oh God of heaven come and hem me in
Gather the pieces that are broken
Show me the wonder of you again
Oh God of heaven

God of my hope, God of my need
God of my pain that no one else will ever see
God of my healing, God of my strength
God who has always and will forever reign
God of my everything

In all creation you call my name
In all the beauty that this world displays
Still I'm the one for whom your heart aches
In all creation

And when the mountains shake
You are my God
You never change
And when the earth gives way
You are still God
You never change

click here to sing: I'm Falling On My Knees

Hungry, I come to You, for I know You satisfy
I am empty but I know Your love does not run dry

So I wait for You, so I wait for You

I'm falling on my knees, offering all of me
Jesus, You're all this heart is living for

Broken, I run to You, for Your arms are open wide
I am weary but I know Your touch restores my life

So I'll wait for You, so I'll wait for You

I'm falling on my knees, offering all of me
Jesus, You're all this heart is living for

Lord, I thank You for all the beautiful women You have placed at this time, in these places. Thank You for tender hearts, quiet determination, daily obedient service. Thank You for meals made, boo-boos kissed, encouraging words, strong vision. All these little things, small glimpses of Your love being poured out through people. Please continue to use and to help your daughters. How awesome that You are able to be with all of us, in all of our needs, in all of our places.

We pray for Your grace to continue to rain down on them.
We pray for our sisters who are in chronic pain. Lord please pour Your healing grace over them. Give them strength; please ease this thorn in their side.
We pray for the mommas of the sick children. Lord, please help them trust in You.

We pray for the leaders in our communities. We ask for wisdom.
We pray for our PWOCs and Bible Studies and Planting Roots and other ministries. May they be honoring to You and drawing women to You.
We pray for patient endurance for the children's ministry workers.

We pray for the pregnant women. Lord, thank You for this life. Please help babies to be born safe.
We pray for the mothers of little ones. May they have joy in their tasks today.
We pray for the mothers of the school aged. Please give them clarity and direction to guide their kiddos.
We pray for the mothers of those off to college and the military and other paths. Lord, please help them to find their new role where You would have them.

We pray for our marriages. Lord help us to adjust to be the kind of wife our husbands need. As we change, help our relationships to change. May we grow towards You. Give us strength and endurance the rough times. May our resiliency be a shining example in this world of abandonment.

For all of us Lord, we want more of You. Help us to be willing to empty out our junk so we can offer all.

Lord, may our broken veterans run to You for healing. Use us to save them from suicide we pray. May You be what they are living for.
We pray our leaders' pride would be broken--may they be humble before You and honoring You--from the Chief of Chaplains Office to the Pentagon to the sergeant.
And God please keep our soldiers safe. May they fall on their knees before Your throne of grace.

Today, we offer all of us to You.

Singing with Selah today:

Before the throne of God above
I have a strong and perfect plea
A great High Priest whose name is love
Who ever lives and pleads for me
My name is graven on His hands
My name is written on His heart
I know that while in heav’n He stands
No tongue can bid me thence depart
No tongue can bid me thence depart

Nothing can keep me from You Lord. No height, no depth, no evil attack, no loneliness, no feelings...
And also for our children. Lord, Your arm is not too short to reach to college, to the hospital, to the lonely post, to the pressured school, to the negative locker room. Lord, we pray our children's names are written on Your heart, graven on Your hands.

VERSE 2
When Satan tempts me to despair
And tells me of the guilt within
Upward I look and see Him there
Who made an end of all my sin
Because the sinless Savior died
My sinful soul is counted free
For God the Just is satisfied
To look on Him and pardon me
To look on Him and pardon me

How can we ever thank You enough Lord, for giving Your Son to take the punishment our sons deserved? Thank You Lord for a love that reaches generations.
Forgive us when we doubt that love. A love like that can be trusted, especially with our children. Help us to give them to You, over and over and over.

VERSE 3

Behold Him there, the risen Lamb
My perfect, spotless Righteousness
The great unchangeable I AM
The King of glory and of grace
One with Himself, I cannot die
My soul is purchased by His blood
My life is hid with Christ on high
With Christ my Savior and my God
With Christ my Savior and my God

Lord, today, will You please be very real to our kids? Soften their heart, open their souls; may they see You.

We pray for the babies in the womb--the potential of life from the joy of love. Please keep them safe.
Please help the crisis pregnancy centers--meet their needs. May they have many workers for the harvest.
We pray for the little ones busy with life. Please keep them safe and give their parents strength.
We pray for our school kids. Lord, please teach them the right attitude to do their best without being stressed. May their teachers be inspiring.
We pray for our kids who are not well. Lord, we ask for healing. But we also ask that they would learn well the lessons of adversity.
We pray for our high schoolers as they discern Your path for their future. May they be more focused on You than their shortcomings, more on Your work than the hardships. May they be a generation of joyful Christians.
We pray for our ones who are off to school and the military and other adventures. May their confidence be in You.
We pray for protection from despair, depression, drugs... We pray that You would hold the hearts of the children of the deployed very close.
We pray for the youth culture of Ft. Irwin especially, as well as all of our posts. Lord, please help them to find meaning and purpose in You. We ask that the Christians would be shining lights for You. We pray against the spiritual forces there. Lord, please reign victorious over that desert.

Most of all, may their names be written on Your heart.

Help us to remember we are all loved by You, and help us to love each other.
We pray for our deployed, and our veterans.
We pray for our leaders, and the Chief of Chaplains office.

We pray because we know You are a loving Father. Thank You Thank You Thank You.
