Praise to the Lord, the Almighty, the King of creation!

of seedlings with life in them waiting in the ground
of swans winging their way across thousands of miles
of food on the table in amazing variety

O my soul, praise Him, for He is thy health and salvation!

the Protector of our forces
the Healer of our sicknesses
the all triumphant One

All ye who hear, now to His temple draw near:

to be near You Lord--
to be near the beauty of rainbows and roses and rubies
to be near the kindness of the perfect Parent
to be near the love of the Creator

Join me in glad adoration!

Gladly we do praise You
gladly we trust You
gladly we seek You

Praise to the Lord, who o'er all things so wondrously reigneth,
Shelters thee under His wings, yea, so gently sustaineth
Hast thou not seen how thy desires e'er have been
Granted in what He ordaineth.

And gladly we bring our requests to You, loving Father:

*Please protect and heal our veterans. May they rest in You, and not be tempted by suicide.
*Please protect our deployed. May they see and understand Your hand in their lives.
*Please be with our leaders. May they Chief of Chaplains office have wisdom and courage. May our nation turn to You and not depend on this world's powers.
*Please be with us in this military life--may we trust in You through the moves, the selling and renting of homes, the separations, the jobs and good leaders and bad, the decisions on how to retire.
*Please be with our children--guard their hearts, embolden them, show them the road You would have for them. More than success, we pray for godliness.

Praise to the Lord who doth prosper thy work and defend thee,
Surely His goodness and mercy here daily attend thee.
Ponder anew What the Almighty can do,
If with His love He befriend thee.

Praise to the Lord! O let all that is in me adore Him!
All that hath life and breath, come now with praises before Him.
Let the Amen sound from His people again;
Gladly for aye we adore Him.
