There is beauty rising from these ashes
There is new life in these dry bones
There’s a revival flowing like a fountain
There’s a new song waiting to be sung
Every burden one day will be lifted
And every broken heart will be redeemed
The Lord Almighty is coming to our rescue
Salvation’s waiting for all who will believe
Our Deliverer is coming
With salvation in His wings
Our Deliverer is coming
Here to set His people free
Our Deliverer is coming
Coming back for you and me
Our Deliverer is coming
Savior come to set us free
From our pain and suffering
We are waiting for the day when
Our Deliverer is coming
With salvation in His wings
Our Deliverer is coming
Here to set His people free
Come Lord Jesus! Come! Lord we long for You to make all things right--to dry every tear, to beat every weapon down into tools, to bring peace and love to all, to have no more goodbyes, no more death...
no more 'not enough', no more 'not good enough', no more pressure, no more stress...
Lord You've given us an amazing and beautiful world here. We see glimpses of You everywhere, as You are behind all beauty, all kindness, all innocence, all creativity, all power. We see You in the comfort and wisdom of our friends. We long for when we can see You face to face.
Thank You for the deliverance You've already sent. Thank You for 10th Mountain soldiers brought home safely, as well as many others we don't even know about. Thank You for children healed from sicknesses and for medications and doctors. Thank You for goals accomplished and ranks achieved. May we never forget these come from You.
But we ask for You to come and reign in our world even more Lord:
*We pray for our veterans. May peace reign in their hearts. May they find You and Your hope. We pray against suicide in Your powerful Name.
*We pray for our deployed. Lord be their Deliverer from the enemy who pursues them only because we bear Your Name.
*We pray for our crazy military lives--for help with moving and finding homes and recreating routines. We pray for those leaving the military and looking for where You would have them planted.
*We pray for our nation and our leaders. Lord, we do not look at them to save us! We look to You. Please move our leaders as You would have them do--including the Chief of Chaplains' office.
*We pray for our marriages Lord. Don't let Satan wedge his way in. Be our Deliverer from discontent. Lord, help our men to keep the covenant with their eyes. Lord, help us to rely on You for the things our men can't provide. Hold our hearts Lord and bring us together--even through the physical separations.
And we pray for those whose marriages are hurting. Come, Deliverer, come.
Our Deliverer in the past, our Deliverer now, our Deliverer in the future--we love You Lord!
